Turpan Museum

Established in 1956, the Turpan Museum has changed its location three times, and is now a national first-class museum and a 4A tourist attraction. The collection holds 707 precious cultural relics (including 120 first-class cultural relics). ————🏠Museum Layout———— The Turpan Museum has 3⃣️ floors, with 10 exhibition halls, but currently only 4⃣️ exhibition halls are open, which are: ➡️【General History Exhibition Hall】 There are 7 units, which are the activities of early humans, the discovery of the Jushi culture, the Cheshi region under the jurisdiction of the Western Regions Protectorate, the Gaochang Prefecture and the Ju family's Gaochang Kingdom, the economic and cultural prosperity of the Tang Dynasty's Xizhou, the development of the Huihu culture, and the Turpan Prefecture Prince in the Qing Dynasty ➡️【Giant Rhinoceros Fossil Exhibition】 There are 4 parts, which are the ancient animal exhibition area, the giant rhinoceros fossil exhibition area, the origin of life exhibition area, and the origin of primates exhibition area.
