[Hanoi] The spectacular Halong Bay!!

I stopped off in Hanoi during a 24-hour transit! I really wanted to go to Halong Bay, so I signed up for an 8-hour tour from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The bus ride from Hanoi to Halong Bay port was 3-4 hours! From there, the boat ride was about 4 hours (lunch overlooking Halong Bay → bamboo boat → cave → boat back to the port), and then back to Hanoi. It was the most compact tour I've ever taken, but I was very satisfied. [Sightseeing Tips] -------- ○ Tours are easy and recommended → I considered going on my own, but the port is quite far, so I definitely recommend the bus tour. ○ Sneakers are recommended → To get to the cave entrance, you have to climb a fair number of stairs and walk. ○ Along the way, you can explore the narrow spaces by bamboo boat (a four-person bamboo boat) or kayak. The price is only a few hundred yen, so I highly recommend it. →It's extremely hot out on the water. While the staff paddled the bamboo boat and provided parasols, you have to paddle the kayak yourself, which can be exhausting and get your clothes wet. If you're confident in your stamina, I highly recommend giving kayaking a try! [Caution]-------- ○Bring a water bottle! →Due to environmental conservation measures, plastic bottles are not allowed in Halong Bay. You can purchase drinks on the boat for around 150 yen, but they won't keep you hydrated in places like the limestone caves. Having an insulated water bottle is extremely convenient.
