Tsim Sha Tsui Eel Specialty Store

This small shop located in Tsim Sha Tsui specializes in eel, with a wooden interior design. We chose two types of eel rice boxes, both of which were exquisitely presented. First is the Eel Kaleidoscope for $98, with beautifully arranged slices of eel and a soft-boiled egg in the middle, served on rice with shredded egg. The Salamander Bowl for $198 is another signature dish, with a generous portion that's enough for two people. The giant eel is thick and covered in a rich sauce, making it perfect for social media. Underneath the eel is a thick layer of egg, making it quite satisfying. For an additional $30, you can get a soft-boiled egg, pickled vegetables, eel liver and white clam soup, and genmaicha tea.
