Today I walked in the rain in Trier's ancient Roman amphitheater, also known as the Colosseum. The largely well-preserved ruins park is enough to allow visitors to appreciate the style of Trier in ancient Roman times: a luxurious scene of a circle of rich and noble people watching the competition after soaking in the Roman baths.
