Wat Buppharam, formerly known as Wat Plai Khlong, is located at Noen Yong, Village No. 3, Ban Plai Khlong, Phatthanakan Plai Khlong Road, Wang Krachae Subdistrict, Mueang Trat District, Trat Province. It is the oldest temple in Trat Province, built during the Ayutthaya period. It was significantly renovated during the time of Phra Khru Saraphisut (Luang Pho Ho), the former abbot.
