Shikizakura

It is a special type of cherry blossom. The special thing about Shikizakura is that it blooms twice a year, in spring and again in winter, around November-December. Obara City is a district in Toyota City, Aichi Prefecture, which is famous for this cherry blossom garden, with over 1,200 trees planted since 1978. It blooms in spring, from mid-March to early April, and in autumn, from late October to early December.
