If you go in June, the fresh greenery is very pleasant. There is a section from Nenokuchi to Yakedake, but it is pleasant to turn back at Ishigedo on the way, which takes 1.5 hours one way and 3 hours round trip, and the sights such as Choshi Otaki are concentrated up to Ishigedo.
