Lin Huiyin's former residence in Yaozhou.

Lin Huiyin's Former Residence is a new cultural and tourism attraction developed in Shaanxi in recent years. It is a typical Guanzhong residence with celebrity story style. It is located at No. 11 Xicang Lane, Yaozhou. In the 1930s, Lin Huiyin and Liang Sicheng visited ancient buildings and stayed in this courtyard when they came to Shaanxi from Shanxi to investigate the Yaowang Mountain stone carvings. The former residence consists of two courtyards. The screen wall behind the gate is inlaid with brick carvings. The pavilion behind the screen wall and the rockery on the right side show the elegance of the former residents. The first courtyard is in a rectangular layout, and the side rooms now house materials related to Lin Huiyin's residence. The second floor of the upper house is the living room with wooden floors and wax figures of Liang Sicheng and Lin Huiyin. The upper room of the second courtyard should be the studio back then. The brick carvings in the former residence are quite beautiful. Please note that you can find the former residence by entering from the alley next to the district government and walking to the end.
