Explore the Wangshi'ao Coal Mine Industrial Heritage Park

🌒Introduction: Wangshi'ao Coal Mine is one of the 156 key projects during the First Five-Year Plan period. The preliminary design was proposed by the Leningrad Design Institute of the former Soviet Union, and the technical design was undertaken by the Xi'an Coal Mine Design Institute. Construction began in 1957, and production began on November 20, 1961. With an annual design capacity of 1.2 million tons, it is one of the large backbone coal mines in the Tongchuan mining area and the first and largest mechanized vertical shaft in northwest China at that time. In October 2015, the Wangshi'ao Coal Mine was shut down and was subsequently listed as a "National Industrial Heritage" and one of the first "Chinese Cultural Heritage Shaanxi Cultural Heritage Parks" and the Wangshi'ao Coal Mine Industrial Heritage Museum was built. 🎬Projects: Soviet-style coal preparation building, Soviet-style cave dormitory building, mining industrial park, green train, the longest single-sided building in Asia, train restaurant, mining food restaurant, underground visit and experience (core project), mine car ride, cable car ride, coffee and cultural creativity, visitor service center, miner's club, coal science and technology museum, coal history museum, 60s hotel, large-scale live performance of the sound of coal, miner's life museum, Qihang Square, Meiqianshan Ecological Restoration Natural Museum, train station street, small coal ball park (non-powered park). 🎫Prospects: It is not known when it will be fully completed, but it is a national 5A scenic spot and is worth looking forward to. It has a heavy industrial style and is very different. If the supporting services are national-level, I think I can bring my children here. 📌Feelings: Wangshi'ao Mine used to be an important coal mine in Tongchuan, and Tongchuan used to be a major coal production base in China. In the booming year of 1958, a generation of passionate people came to Wangshi'ao to join the coal production. So, I spent most of my childhood in Wangshi'ao, going to school in the city and spending my winter and summer vacations in Wangshi'ao. Almost all the buildings and production tools related to coal in Wangshi'ao were built with the help of the Soviet Union. The coal preparation building, the experts' residence, and the technical research site they built have been preserved, and there is the largest single-sided building in Asia. Around 2013, the coal resources were basically exhausted, and people gradually moved to the mountains, leaving the place deserted. Now the government is going to build a coal heritage park here, welcoming everyone to experience it in a different way. From 2014 to now, nearly 10 years have passed, and the basic appearance and projects have been completed, just waiting for the staff of Wangshi'ao Heritage Park to be in place.
