[Gunma] Tomioka Silk Mill, a symbol of Japan's Industrial Revolution

#Spring0yenTrip The Tomioka Silk Mill is a World Heritage Site, recognized for its historical value as a place symbolizing Japan's industrial revolution during the Meiji era. After a leisurely ride on the Joshin Dentetsu line from Takasaki, we arrived and were amazed by the old-fashioned buildings and sophisticated equipment. In particular, the area exhibiting the silk-reeling process conveyed the technical capabilities and efforts of the craftsmen at the time, giving us a glimpse of Japan's development at the time. The area around the silk mill has a quiet and calm atmosphere, and it was a valuable place where we could feel the depth of history and take a firm look at the progress of modernization.
