Toyokawa Inari and Hie Shrine in Tokyo

Nestled on a hill, the shrine features a long staircase leading up through a massive torii gate, creating a tranquil and sacred setting. The shrine's main deity, the Oyama God, protects the city's peace and prosperity. The grand "Sanno Matsuri" held each June is one of Japan's three major festivals and boasts a magnificent spectacle. One prays for business prosperity, the other protects the capital's safety. Both are essential spiritual landmarks in Tokyo.
