Tokyo 6-Day Intense Travel｜Itinerary Sharing + Honest Thoughts

Although this trip was three years ago, I still remember it as "exhausting but worth it" 😂. If you're planning to explore Tokyo in an intense travel mode, here's my personal experience. I don't recommend copying it exactly because it's really tiring, but you can use it as a reference. 🗓 Itinerary Day 1 Right after landing, we headed straight to Shibuya Sky. The night view was absolutely stunning, offering a panoramic view of Tokyo. Visiting on the first night really set the mood for the trip. Day 2 Spent the entire day at Tokyo Disneyland. Must-try attractions include the Beauty and the Beast Castle and the Monsters, Inc. Ride & Go Seek (Japan exclusive). The atmosphere was incredible. Surprisingly, we even managed to stroll around Kabukicho in Shinjuku at night, though our legs were completely worn out. Day 3 In the morning, we visited Sanrio Puroland. Honestly, it felt a bit childish, and unless you're a Sanrio fan, you can skip it. In the afternoon, we went to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter. This was the most impressive part of the trip! As a Harry Potter fan, I was moved to tears upon seeing the sets. Even my non-fan friends found it amazing. The interactive features and attention to detail were top-notch. I’d love to visit again! Day 4 In the morning, we visited Tokyo Daijingu, which was full of romantic vibes. In the afternoon, we went to Asakusa to wear yukata. The hair and makeup turned out great, and taking photos at sunset was truly beautiful. However, wearing a yukata in summer was quite hot, but it was still worth experiencing once. Day 5 In the morning, we checked out Hie Shrine (a location from "Your Name") and then returned to Asakusa for more daytime photos. In the evening, we explored Ginza to soak in Tokyo's bustling city vibe. Day 6 We took a leisurely stroll around Higashi-Ikebukuro in the morning before heading home. 🏨 Accommodation We stayed at The B Ikebukuro. The rooms were really small, making it hard to open our luggage, but the location was super convenient with a subway station right next door. It was a decent base for an intense travel itinerary. 🌟 Honest Thoughts Intense travel is truly exhausting, and our feet were practically dead by the end of each day. If I had to pick highlights, I’d strongly recommend: Shibuya Sky, Disneyland, the Harry Potter Studio Tour, and wearing yukata at Asakusa. If you're not a Sanrio fan, you can skip Sanrio Puroland. For a more comfortable trip, I suggest slowing down the pace; otherwise, you might miss out on many details.
