Amazing museum

I have visited the tokyo national museum over 4 times in the past. And practically stop by every other year. Museums are one of my favourite things to do. There are multiple buildings to explore with rich cultural artifacts from Japan, the rest of Asia, and beyond. There is also a serene tea house in the gardens which I spent some time relaxing and reading my book with an iced matcha and wagashi (great service by the way!). Right across from Ueno Park, the museum is well-located. After I was done at the museum, I went to the park and there was a festival going on with rows of food vendors that went on and on.
