A secret Tokyo skyline view

Okay maybe not secret. But when I visited Tokyo’s Caretta Shiodome observatory I was the only one there, which can’t be said for any other Tokyo viewing spot I’ve been to. And honestly, this view was probably my favourite! Caretta Shiodome is actually a shopping centre, featuring a few restaurants and a Tokyo’s free Ad Museum (the reason I visited in the first place!). But what you’ll want to look out for is the express elevator taking you to the ‘47th floor restaurants’. Don’t let the thought of expensive high-rise dinning put you off! Once you reach the top floor you’ll see a few restaurant options, but you’ll also see several huge windows that let you witness these beautiful views completely free of charge! #cityscape
