Qilian Mountain Glacial Valley

The Qilian Mountains Binggou River Scenic Area boasts Snow Mountain Tianchi Lake, primeval forests and grasslands, and abundant cattle, sheep, and marmots along the way. The white yaks are large, and the marmots are adorable. The scenic bus ride is divided into two sections, and you'll need to walk for 10 kilometers to Tianchi Lake. The scenery along the way is beautiful, so bring your own food and water. There are no restrooms or snack bars within the scenic area, making it a mysterious and beautiful landscape that is currently sparsely populated. The 10-kilometer walk to Tianchi Lake is strenuous due to the high altitude, so be careful. You must return to the scenic area entrance by 3:00 AM to avoid missing the shuttle bus. This attraction is a must-see when traveling along the northern Gansu route.
