Stepping into Maijishan, one is immediately struck by the steep cliffs. The caves, densely packed like a honeycomb on the cliff face, have withstood the test of time, maintaining their solemnity and tranquility. As you ascend the steps, it feels like traveling through the river of time, with each step resonating with the pulse of ancient civilization. Entering the caves, you are greeted by countless Buddha statues and murals, some sitting serenely, others smiling gently, each seemingly imbued with infinite wisdom and compassion. The lifelike carvings, with their delicate and flowing lines, appear as if the craftsmen carved the traces of time with their souls. Touching the stone walls, the coolness conveys a sense of antiquity, as if one can feel the dedication and piety of the ancient artisans. As the sun sets, Maijishan is bathed in golden twilight, and the faces of the Buddha statues seem to take on an added layer of mystery and sanctity. At this moment, standing quietly in the mountains, my heart is filled with reverence and emotion, as if I have become one with this land, standing watch with these immortal statues over the long night of history, awaiting the dawn of the future.
