Hiking Around Chengdu: Laba River｜A Stunning Summer Escape and Oxygen-Rich Paradise～

The air is fresh, and temperatures are pleasant—just over 20°C in the mountains during summer, making it a perfect natural oxygen bar and summer retreat. 🐵🦌 You might even have a close encounter with wildlife! 🚗 About 3.5 hours drive from Chengdu to the scenic area! 💰 Entrance fee: 50 RMB per person. ❤️ You can drive there or join a one-day tour group. The scenic area is divided into West Route and East Route—just take the East Route in summer. From the starting point [Luming Hotel] → to the endpoint [Blue Crystal Hotel], it's about 4.5 km round trip! Walking and taking photos along the way takes around 3 hours. The entire path is paved with stone slabs and features a few suspension bridges, making it an easy and family-friendly light hiking route suitable for kids and seniors. ⚠️ PS: Do not provoke or feed the monkeys. Though they are gentler compared to their counterparts at Mount Emei, some might still snatch food. Bring a hiking pole for self-defense just in case!
