The journey through Western Sichuan is a symphony of majestic landscapes and vibrant life. Departing from Chengdu and heading westward, the scenery gradually unfolds into breathtaking grandeur. Crossing the Erlang Mountains, the mist-shrouded peaks outside the car window resemble an ink-wash painting, alternating between clarity and hazy mystery. At the foot of the mountains, Tibetan villages dot the landscape, with wisps of cooking smoke rising into the air, harmonizing with the distant snow-capped peaks. Upon reaching Tagong Grassland, the vastness and tranquility instantly soothe the soul. The Yala Snow Mountain glistens with silver light under the sun, standing like a guardian of this land. Prayer flags flutter in the wind, their rustling whispers a dialogue between nature and faith. Strolling across the grassland, I feel the softness beneath my feet and listen to the murmuring wind, as if time itself has slowed down.
