Southern Thai Curry Camp on the Kwai Yai River – Great vibes, clear water, and delicious food! I recently had the opportunity to stay at Kaeng Tai Camp in Kanchanaburi, and I can say that I was more impressed than I expected! The accommodation is located on the banks of the Kwai Yai River. The raft extends out into the water, creating a peaceful atmosphere. The view is stunning, overlooking both the mountains and the river, giving a truly natural feel. Waking up in the morning to a light mist floating above the water's surface is a beauty that doesn't require any photo editing. The activities are plentiful. The rafting was so much fun! The water was so refreshing, and there was a net extending from the room for you to lie down and dip your feet in. The view was truly amazing. For dinner, we had a barbecue on the raft. The atmosphere was fantastic, with a cool breeze blowing. We ate and watched the sunset. It was so amazing! The room wasn't luxurious, but it was clean and had an en suite bathroom. Most importantly, the owner and staff were lovely and friendly. It felt like visiting a friend's house. If you're looking for a place to stay with a great atmosphere, close to nature, and truly relax without rushing, I highly recommend Kaeng Tai Camp.
