Matterhorn, Switzerland - a spiritual sanctuary in the snowy mountains.

On the fifth day of my self-driving trip in Europe, after experiencing paragliding in Interlaken, I drove to my next stop in Switzerland - Zermatt. Because Zermatt is a car-free town, I chose to stay one night in the neighboring town of Täsch. ✅Take the train to Zermatt In the morning, I took the train 🚂 and arrived in Zermatt in just 15 minutes. Along the way, you can enjoy the rolling mountains and clear rivers (it is recommended to sit on the left side to enjoy the beautiful scenery). The main destination when coming to Zermatt is the world-famous Matterhorn in the Alps. I first learned about this wonder from the Matterhorn Bobsled roller coaster at Disneyland in California, and this time I finally had the opportunity to see it in person. 🗻Going to the Matterhorn: We took the Gornergrat Bahn🚞 when we went up the mountain, which is a great route to see the Matterhorn. The train slowly climbs up the mountain, offering views of snow-capped peaks, emerald green alpine meadows and deep blue lakes along the way. My route is to reach the highest observation deck first, and then go down the mountain to check in one stop at a time. When you look to the right after exiting the station, a magnificent panoramic view of the Matterhorn comes into view. The 4,478-meter-high mountain reaches straight into the sky. The snow-capped peak that never melts all year round contrasts with the azure sky, creating a scenery that is beyond words. ⭐Best viewing point: Get off at the penultimate stop Rotenboden, walk through the small wooden gate and follow the path to the reflection lake. The lake sparkles, with the reflection of the Matterhorn reflected in it, giving the mountain a mysterious and stunning charm! I took the most satisfying photos here. Not only did I capture the stunning scene, but I also quietly felt the majestic power of the snow-capped mountains and nature. In addition, a misplaced photo of the internet celebrity Toblerone chocolate 🍫 was taken, although the chocolate was accidentally stepped on 🥲. 📝Summary: Although the trip was rushed, I was able to witness the beauty of the Matterhorn, breathe the fresh air of the Swiss mountains, and take unforgettable photos by the reflecting lake, which made this trip without regrets!
