Historic Silver Mine in Tarnowskie Góry

Historic Silver Mine (formerly Historic Silver Ore Mine) - located in Tarnowskie Góry, the only underground tourist route in Poland enabling visitors to visit the underground of a former silver-bearing ore mine. Since 2004, part of the historical monument of Tarnowskie Góry - the underground of the historic silver-bearing ore mine and the "Black Trout" adit. Since July 2017, it has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage List as one of the objects of the entry called: Mine of lead, silver and zinc ores with an underground water management system in Tarnowskie Góry. The Historic Silver Mine is one of the four stars of the Industrial Monuments Trail of the Silesian Voivodeship. Since 2014, the Mine has joined the European Route of Industrial Heritage (ERIH) as a so-called Anchor Point. #poland #museum
