Lala Mountain National Forest Recreation Area Lala Mountain, meaning "beautiful" or "standing on tiptoe to gaze into the distance" in the Atayal language, is a transliteration of R'ra and is now also known as Daguan Mountain. A scenic mountain attraction located on the border of Fuxing District, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, and Wulai District, New Taipei City, Taiwan, it is renowned for its giant forests rising nearly 2,000 meters above sea level, its diverse flora and fauna, and its renowned peaches. Besides boasting Taiwan's largest red cypress forest, Lala Mountain offers unique scenery and activities year-round!
