Danshui Golden Waterfront Bikeway

The Golden Waterfront Bike Path is located in Tamsui District, New Taipei City. It starts from Guanshan Park and extends all the way to Tamsui New Town, with a total length of about 15 kilometers. I rented a 2.0 ubike from Guandu Wharf (north side of Guandu Palace), passed by the Tamsui Mangrove Reserve (to see the pure forest of water lilies), and along the Tamsui Riverside Scenic Trail, overlooking Bali's Guanyin Mountain. It felt very pleasant. I rode 5 kilometers to the Tamsui MRT station to return the bike, and then I could walk to Tamsui Old Street, admire the ancient monuments, and have fun eating, drinking and having fun. For those who don’t have enough time, a half-day tour is suitable.
