Tamsui, a city near Taipei, half-day travel course📍

I'll introduce you to Danshui, a great place to travel near Taipei, Taiwan. Danshui is a port city with a beautiful sunset, and is famous for being the setting of the movie "Secret that Cannot Be Told". It takes about an hour from downtown Taipei to Danshui, so it's a great place for a half-day trip. 🚇There are two ways to get from Taipei Main Station to Danshui Station: taxi, Uber, or subway. - MTR Subway Take the MRT RED Line from Taipei Main Station to Danshui Station without transferring, and it takes about 45-50 minutes. *When taking the MTR RED Line to Danshui, there are two lines, beitou and Tamsui, so I recommend checking before boarding. - Taxi, Uber Taxi or Uber takes about 30 minutes. The price is about 20,000 won. 📍Danshui is a great place to travel for a half-day. It takes about 4 hours to take the Danshui River, Hongmaicheng, and Xiaobai Palace course. - Hongmi-cheng This is a building built in the architectural style of the Netherlands and the UK with over 300 years of history. It was used as a consulate by the British government. This is the filming location for the movie Secret Piano Competition. - Jinli University Jinli University is located right next to Hongmi-cheng. It is a university founded by missionaries and is famous for its beautiful campus. It is also the filming location for the Secret Playground scene. - Danshui River It was selected as one of the eight scenic spots in Taipei because of its beautiful sunset. There are many restaurants and cafes with great views along the coastal streets. - Danshui Lao Street Danshui Lao Street is the main street with an old atmosphere called 'Old Street' and a long riverside promenade along the Danshui River. There are many shops, souvenir shops, and street food restaurants.
