[Ishigaki Island] Enjoy a relaxing island time! Water buffalo cart tour on Taketomi Island

When I came to Taketomi Island, I definitely wanted to try riding a water buffalo cart. The cute water buffalo slowly circled the island, and I was able to feel "island time" as I leisurely looked at the red-tiled houses and white sand roads. Along the way, our guide sang Okinawan folk songs while playing the sanshin, and the sound was so pleasant that I wanted to listen to it forever. The stories were also interesting, and I was able to learn about the history and culture of Taketomi Island. It's nice to get around on foot, but I was able to enjoy the island from the relaxed perspective that only a water buffalo cart can offer, and it was very relaxing. It had a tourist feel to it, but it was a memorable experience, so I definitely recommend you try it if you go to Taketomi Island! #Spring0YenTrip
