📍Hateruma Island Hateruma Island Stargazing Tower Hateruma Island Stargazing Tower is an astronomical observatory located on Hateruma Island in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa Prefecture. It is the southernmost public observatory in Japan, and you can observe the Southern Cross during opening hours from late April to mid-June. It also has a planetarium, but it is out of order and cannot be viewed at the moment. It's a shame.
