Taiping Bamboo Resort, Perak 🇲🇾

A few months ago, I brought my two kids to a leadership and personal development camp at Taiping Bamboo Resort near Taiping Lake Gardens. Nestled in nature, the resort is truly beautiful, with flowing rivers perfect for swimming, fruit trees scattered around the grounds, and a barbecue area that makes it ideal not just for family outings but also for corporate events. The entire place is well-kept, with clean air-conditioned chalets and tidy bathrooms, while those who prefer the outdoors can even opt for tent stays. My kids had an amazing time — not only enjoying the activities, but also learning valuable lessons from the older participants. The camp itself was organized by a choir team from a Chinese school in Setiawan. We joined at the last minute since I wanted to bring my kids somewhere meaningful during the term break, and I’m so glad we did. Overall, Taiping Bamboo Resort is a wonderful spot, reasonably priced, and definitely worth recommending.
