Beautiful Scenery at Xianji Rock

Xianji Rock is a large rock located in Xizikou Mountain, Wenshan District, Taipei City. According to legend, Lü Dongbin once left his footprints here, and a temple dedicated to him was built under the rock by believers. Nearby are Shih Hsin University and China University of Technology. There are about 14 hiking entrances around Xianji Rock Mountain. Most people start their hike from the archway steps next to No. 241 Jingxing Street. The initial steps are a bit steep, but soon you will enter a gentler path with dense shade on both sides. The gentle slope and cool breeze make it a great place to visit during the hot summer. Both Xianji Rock and Xianyan Temple are excellent viewpoints for enjoying the scenery. The wide-open view allows you to take in the distant mountains and nearby waters, offering breathtaking beauty. It is highly recommended to visit.
