Old House Cafe

Prelude: Gome 12 (the name of the cafe). I walked in and discovered it was a Chinese medicine shop. The ordering counter was a medicine cabinet, which was quite unique. It's a Japanese-style place hidden in an alleyway, a row of two-story houses resembling a military dependents' village. The crepe cake was quite good, with a unique flavor that I could tolerate. Next time you're in Taichung, consider it a great place for afternoon tea (a great place to spend a leisurely afternoon with friends). It's near the Taichung Art Museum.
