[Szentendre] A small village in the Danube Bend

#TravelWithMe This cute village can be reached in about an hour by suburban train Hev from Budapest's Batthyany Square, or by taking a city bus or metro for a single ticket (450 forints) + 450 forints for the suburbs, for just 900 forints (about 400 yen) one way. It's a bit of a walk to the center of the village, but there is a marzipan museum and a small art gallery. I strolled around buying fried bread-like lángos and ice cream. There was also a boat dock on the Danube River. I wonder if I could come by cruise? There was also a facility like a Hungarian ethnic village on the outskirts, but there seemed to be few buses, so I gave up. There is a bus that goes to Visegrád, where the remains of the royal palace from before Budapest are located, so it is recommended to head there. #Hungary #Budapest #Szentendre
