Family, recently took the kids to Suzhou, and the hotel we stayed at was right next to Shantang Street, which was such a wonderful surprise! It’s right in the heart of Suzhou, within easy walking or biking distance to popular attractions like Shantang Street, Pingjiang Road, and the Humble Administrator’s Garden. For our family trip, not having to waste time on travel was really a relief. 🏡Room Type and Experience As soon as we entered, we were attracted by the traditional Jiangnan Chinese style decor, with carved wooden windows and blue brick floors, both elegant and practical. The room had a high-definition projector, so the kids could watch their favorite cartoons at night. What surprised us the most was the room’s private terrace—after a day of sightseeing, sitting on the terrace and feeling the breeze of Suzhou was incredibly relaxing.
