Suzhou's 50th garden.

Suzhou's 50th garden: Zhan's Garden Zhan's Garden was built in the 21st year of the Jiaqing reign of the Qing dynasty (1816). It was originally the residence of the Zhu family and was called Jingzhong Courtyard. In 1943, the industrialist Zhan Peilin bought the garden. Zhan had three sons and two daughters, and to reflect the affection and love between the five siblings, the residence was renamed Wuaidang (Five Love Hall). The descendants of the Zhan family have moved overseas. In 1986, the descendants of the Zhan family funded the restoration of the garden and later donated it to the Suzhou Social Welfare Institute.
