Hotel Review - Hilton Suzhou Yinshan Lake Hotel

This hotel was formerly known as "Sunshine City Hilton Hotel." It seems they've changed ownership but still chose to continue operating under the Hilton brand. I had read quite a few reviews online beforehand, and the overall ratings weren't high, which significantly lowered my expectations. Perhaps because of this, my stay experience was actually better than I had imagined. 🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The soundproofing was good; I couldn't hear sounds from neighboring rooms or even the hallway. Cleanliness was also well-maintained, with no stains on the sofa covers or cushions. 🏘️Room Type/Layout: As a Gold member, I received a free upgrade to a lake view room on the 11th floor, which is a mid-level floor, not particularly high. When you open the door, you first see the desk, with the bed behind it facing the window, offering a nice view of the scenery outside. However, the TV is positioned to the side, making it inconvenient to watch from bed. The entire bathroom area is somewhat compact - you have to walk around the large bathtub to reach the toilet, which could be hazardous at night. Although there's only a single sink, there's an additional vanity table, which is a plus. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: All amenities are standard Hilton offerings. The welcome fruit and card showed some thoughtfulness. 💗Other Tips: Breakfast offers a good variety of options with average quality - typical Hilton standard. There's a service offering xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) and fried radish cakes, which is nice as they're freshly made by the chef. The coffee was terribly bitter - so bitter I thought I was drinking Chinese medicine... This is a typical business hotel, about a 10-minute walk from the subway station, with no obvious family-friendly features, and relatively affordable prices. If you're on a budget but want safe and clean accommodation, this is a good choice.
