"A Century of Book Fragrance, Reading Paradise" - Suzhou Library 110th Anniversary Exhibition ⏰ Exhibition period: Sep 20, 2024 - Dec 15, 2024 📌 Exhibition venue: 3rd Floor, Children's Library, Suzhou Library The exhibition is divided into 5 sections based on the changes of the library's location, introducing the 110-year history of Suzhou Library through precious historical documents, materials, and items: 1️⃣ Birth and Development: Keyuan Period - Sep 1914 - Nov 1951 2️⃣ Transition and Exploration: Zhuozhengyuan and Gongyuan Road Period (Part 1) - Dec 1951 - Dec 1978 3️⃣ Reform and Transformation: Gongyuan Road Period (Part 2) - Jan 1979 - May 2001 4️⃣ Diversity and Innovation: Renmin Road Tianxiang Xiaozhu Period - Jun 2001 - Nov 2019 5️⃣ Wisdom and Development: Dual Main Library Period - Dec 2019 - Present I didn't expect Suzhou Library to have a history of 100 years, only 5 years less than the National Library of China. I guess it's one of the oldest libraries in China.
