Suzhou Xishan Scenic Area: A Poetic Journey Amidst Lakes and Mountains

🌅 When the spring breeze caresses the face and everything comes back to life, I embarked on a journey to the Suzhou Xishan Scenic Area. This is the perfect place for the Jiangnan water town scenery that I have longed for. 🏞️ 🏞️ Suzhou Xishan Scenic Area is located by the Taihu Lake and consists of several attractions such as Miaofeng Peak, Mingyue Bay, and Tangli Ancient Village. As soon as I entered the scenic area, I was captivated by the lakes and mountains before me. The vast Taihu Lake, with its rippling green waves, made me feel as if I were in a landscape painting. 🌊 🚶‍♂️ Walking along the winding mountain road, I arrived at Miaofeng Peak. This is the main peak of Xishan, and although its altitude is not high, the view is excellent. Standing at the top, one can gaze at the vast expanse of Taihu Lake and feel the charm of the Jiangnan water town. The mountain is shrouded in mist, appearing and disappearing, like a fairyland. 🌬️✨ 🏡 After descending the mountain, I arrived at Mingyue Bay. The architectural style of the ancient village here is unique, with blue tiles and white walls arranged in an orderly manner. Walking on the stone-paved road, it felt like traveling back a thousand years. The elderly in the village told me that every stone and tile here carries a long history and stories. 🏞️📜 🏞️ Additionally, I visited Tangli Ancient Village. The ancient buildings here are well-preserved and have a profound cultural heritage. The stone-paved roads, small bridges, flowing water, and household smoke in the ancient village form beautiful pictures. 🎨 🍽️ During the tour, I also tasted the local specialties of Xishan. Delicacies such as Taihu's three whites and Yangcheng Lake hairy crabs made me feast and experience Suzhou's food culture. 🥢🍤 🌛 This trip to Suzhou Xishan Scenic Area made me deeply appreciate the charm of the Jiangnan water town.
