I didn't expect there to be so many people out on New Year's Eve, but it wasn't noisy or crowded, just right. It made you feel the festive and celebratory atmosphere of the New Year, but without the annoyance of people pushing against each other. Everyone was strolling, taking photos, shopping, eating delicious food. I saw a little girl wearing a red cape with a big white fur collar, like Lin Daiyu when she first entered the Jia Mansion, hurriedly passing by with her parents, and for a moment, I felt as if I was in the Dream of the Red Chamber.
