Gehua Resort Suzhou Bay - The family-friendly crown jewel of Suzhou Bay

Suzhou Bay has become much more popular in the past two years with the opening of the museum and the water world. The only downside is that it's nearly an hour's drive from Suzhou city center. The Suzhou Wanhua Yi Hotel is one of my favorite resort hotels. Both the nearby attractions and the hotel's own scenery are fantastic, and there's the Wangyan Hot Springs next door, making it a great place to have fun regardless of the season. The hotel hasn't been open for two years, so the facilities are relatively new. It has several detached villas, which are very suitable for family trips during the New Year. Of course, the price is a bit expensive. The hotel's executive lounge is on the top floor, offering great views and vistas. The dishes served are also quite good, satisfyingly filling. Many rooms in the hotel come with hot spring pools, allowing you to enjoy hot springs without leaving your room in winter. Of course, if you find the in-room hot spring not exciting enough, there's the very famous Wangyan Hot Springs next door, which is directly accessible from the hotel. However, you need to buy a ticket, and there's a very large circular warm water pool filled with ducks, which children absolutely love. The Suzhou Water World is just a five-minute drive from the hotel, and it's also close to the Suzhou Museum. So whether it's a cultural trip or an entertainment trip, this hotel can meet your needs very well. Highly recommended.
