Great value for money at the first Marriott hotel in Suining The first Marriott hotel in Suining is probably one of the cheapest Marriott hotels in the world. I stayed here on a Friday for CNY 375, and there was a flash sale for 1,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. With the Titanium Elite benefits, the actual cost was less than CNY 200 per night. The hotel is located on Shenglian Island in the middle of the Fujiang River in Suining, and is connected to the mainland by tunnels. It's very convenient to take a taxi here. The hotel lobby is very high and grand. The front desk is located in the four corners of the lobby. I was upgraded to a corner king room. I arrived late and didn't experience the happy hour. The hotel didn't provide welcome fruit. The room is in a typical Marriott style. The bathroom has a sliding door and is open-plan. There's a separate oval bathtub and a small cloakroom in the room. You can see the tent area and fruit trees by the road from the room. The hotel is located on a small island in the river, so it's very quiet at night and great for resting. The hotel has a full range of fitness facilities, but no swimming pool. There's a third-party water park nearby that requires an additional fee. There's also a children's play area, a children's train, and starry sky tents, all of which require an additional fee. Overall, the hotel is very family-friendly and great for a holiday with kids. The breakfast is average. There are local specialties such as pork rib noodles and mixed sauce noodles, as well as Sichuan-style baozi. There are only three types of fruit in the fruit area, which matches the price but not the brand. It's definitely worth staying here for a night at this price. The hotel is full of advertisements for "Sichuan's Little Sanya", which is a bit awkward. Is Sanya a popular tourist destination?
