It usually takes 1.5–2 hours to climb, 30–60 minutes including a break and photos at the church, and 1–1.5 hours on the way back. The total course time is 3–4 hours  . ⸻ 📍[Route Overview] 1. Main road to the church: Cross the bridge and take the road towards Gergeti Village. Cross the village and follow the main road to the church. There are routes along the valley and along the ridge, so you can choose based on the scenery and your level of fatigue (). 2. Branch line: There is a steeper route through the forest, but it is not generally recommended because it is tiring and the scenery is poor. . ⸻ ✨Recommended points • The church with gorgeous Mount Kazbek in the background and the old tower in the grassland create a fantastic mountain scenery. • The road to the mountain range is pleasant, and the scenery changes with each step, so you don't feel the length. • The church was built in the 14th century and is a symbol of history and faith in the mountain region. After 10am, clouds tend to cover the summit. • The trail is well maintained, but there are also muddy areas and rocks, so wear non-slip shoes. • Bring water, snacks, warm clothes, and a camera!
