On the last day of my trip to Greece, I arrived at Athens International Airport (Eleftherios Venizelos Airport). True to its reputation as a gateway to Europe, the airport exuded a clean and modern atmosphere while maintaining a sense of relaxation. The interior was spacious and straightforward, making it easy for first-time visitors to navigate. After completing the check-in process at the counters, I found a stretch of duty-free shops and cafes, perfect for spending time before departure. From traditional Greek souvenirs to olive oil, honey, and wine, a variety of products were displayed, making it an ideal spot for some final shopping. Particularly, the airport cafes offered rich Greek coffee, allowing for a leisurely moment. Sitting by the large windows, I watched planes take off and reflected on the memories of this trip. Athens Airport also provided stable Wi-Fi connectivity and numerous charging stations for electronic devices, ensuring that waiting time was not dull. Even beyond the security checkpoint, there were various dining options, convenient for travelers waiting for late flights. Though it marked the end of my journey in Athens, this airport served as a beautiful space to conclude the travel experience.
