COLONIAL HERITAGE RESTAURANT WITHIN HISTORIC SHOPHOUSE BY THE RIVER! 🍸🌊

Back in Singapore’s colonial days, Boat Quay was once the centre for trading, with beautiful merchant shophouses by the river. Fast forward to this present day, 1826 opened their doors within one of the many historical shophouses along the river bank, paying homage to the colonial origins of our country. 🇬🇧 The restaurant boasts an extensive menu of both Eastern and Western dishes that are heavily influenced by traditional local flavours and Peranakan culture. 🌱 We got the 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘀 which is a amazingly rich and buttery. There’s a powerful shellfish flavour among the garlicky risotto. It’s just a shame that the portion is pretty small. 🦐 #singaporetrips#food
