Singapore in February is perfect for travel! The weather is pleasant, neither too hot nor too cold. Follow me on a wonderful journey to the Lion City! 1. Book your round-trip flights to Singapore in advance for better trip planning. Currency and Exchange Rate: The official currency of Singapore is the Singapore dollar (SGD). It's recommended to exchange some Singapore dollars at Bank of China or other designated institutions before departure. Currently, about 5.2 RMB equals 1 SGD. Most places in Singapore accept international credit cards and mobile payments like Alipay, but some small businesses may only accept cash. Weather and Clothing: Singapore has a hot and humid climate year-round, with temperatures ranging from 21–32°C. Pack light, breathable clothing, sunscreen, and a hat. Bring a portable umbrella as it rains frequently in Singapore. Voltage and Plugs: Singapore uses 220V and British-style three-pin plugs. Prepare a travel adapter to avoid inconvenience. Transportation and Communication: Singapore has an excellent public transportation system, including the subway, buses, and taxis. Keep your indoor space clean and avoid leaving food residue to prevent ant infestations. Occasional rain in February, so bring an umbrella. Air conditioning is strong indoors, so bring a light jacket to avoid catching a cold. Be mindful of regulations on eating in public places, such as the no-eating rule on the subway.
