🇸🇬 National Day Weekend at One Farrer Hotel

While some people choose to travel abroad over the long National Day weekend, I decided to remain on this sunny island to stay at One Farrer Hotel, one of my favourite Singapore hotels for a staycation. Located a few steps from Farrer Park MRT Exit A, it is conveniently located near City Square Mall and a few stops to town. It also shares a building with Farrer Park Hospital, making it a good option for those who come for medical tourism. I stayed in the Mint Premier Room and got a room on the 19th floor, which allowed for an unobstructed city view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The 33sqm room is spacious and modern, coated in warm hues and simply decorated with an artwork. The king sized bed is one of the more comfortable beds I have slept on, with a firm mattress for support and medium firm pillows for comfort. The bathroom is fitted with a Japanese TOTO Washlet, while the huge shower cubicle comes with a rainshower and hand held with sufficient water pressure. The highlight of the Mint Premier Room is access to the Skyline Lounge on Level 18, where there is an exclusive pool as well as three meal presentations. The service here is friendly and attentive as always, and I was pleasantly surprised that Joni remembered me from my last stay one year ago! The lounge never got too packed, so I could enjoy my food at my own pace with peace and privacy. The lounge serves Evening Cocktails from 5.30pm to 8pm, offering free flow Prosecco, wines, beers and hard liquor along with a simple dinner spread.
