Boy, do Singaporeans love their bread~ With the rise of more artisanal micro-bakeries here, we’re simply spoilt for the good stuff! 🤤 Few months ago, Pickle caused quite a stir with their fresh sourdough bakes, so we know where we were heading next! Our quest to find the bakery was no easy feat. They’re located in a tiny space right below a block of HDB estates in Outram Park. We got there around noon, but it seems like business was brisk, as there weren’t many options left. We got just the Bircher Green Apple, which is at $7.50 per piece. 🍏 A little pricey in our opinion, but I guess the effort taken to put this together justifies it. The dough is certainly flaky and fluffy, a sure sign of something well done! There’s a light filling of sweet apples, which matches the fluffiness of the pastry really well! Overall, certainly satisfying and we’ll want to give the others a try someday!
