Morrocoy National Park has the best beaches of Venezuela!

Looking for your next tropical adventure? 🌴 Let me share my beach-packed journey through Silva — from the stunning Morrocoy National Park to dreamy deserted cays and super chill local hangouts. The natural beauty here is unreal and the food scene absolutely surprised me! Top Spots to Visit: 1. Morrocoy National Park (Parque Nacional Morrocoy, Tucacas 4101): Open all day, this park is the gateway to Venezuela’s wild coast. Unbelievable beaches, mangrove lagoons, and wildlife are EVERYWHERE — don't skip the sunrise if you’re an early riser! 2. Cayo Tucupido (Parque Nacional Morrocoy, Tucacas): Tiny island vibes and turquoise waters. Rent a boat from the nearby marina or arrange a transfer through your hotel. 3. Posada Los Cocos Morrocoy (Parque Nacional Morrocoy): My stay felt like joining a warm Venezuelan family! Breakfast is varied and tasty, perfect for all taste profiles — they cater to dietary needs and always deliver super-fresh local flavors. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and easy boat access mean peak chill mode. 4. Cayo Soy Sola (Mar Caribe, Avenida Lago De Valencia, Caracas): Total desert-island feels. Bring snacks and sunscreen; there’s not much infrastructure, but the blue waters and quiet beaches are worth it. 5. Los Juanes (VQ7M+WFM, Agua Salobre): A party at sea! Locals anchor here and it turns into a floating hangout with music and food. Try local “ceviche” from boat vendors. 6. Playa Mayorquina: Remote, relaxed coast with shallow waters, ideal for kids and snorkeling. Getting Around & Tips: - Best way: Boat rentals from local marinas (ask Posada staff for help, they know legit providers 👍). - Bring cash (ATMs are unreliable). - Sun protection is a MUST — don’t underestimate Caribbean sun! - Weather: Hot year-round, expect some humidity. - Food pick: Ceviche or grilled fish from local boats — freshness can’t be topped. #morrocoymagic #venezuelatravel #beachhopping #tropicalvibes #tripdotcom
