Medieval Tuscan Town: Siena

The medieval streetscape remains, and the Piazza del Campo, the symbol of the city, is said to be the most beautiful square in the world. The largest city we visited on this trip to Val d'Orcia. There were plenty of general stores, souvenir shops, cafes, and restaurants. It's a recommended place for those who want to enjoy shopping. I also bought a scarf as a souvenir. Siena Cathedral is a masterpiece of Italian Gothic architecture. The detailed decorations were beautiful and the colors were very pretty. I didn't go inside, but I enjoyed just the exterior. As it is a large city, it was a lively town with many tourists.
