Stone Hotel Siem Reap—A Comfortable Choice in the Heart of the City

I spent a few days in Siem Reap and stayed at the Stone Hotel Siem Reap, located in the Old Market Area of Mondul I, Svay Dangkom, near Pub Street. The location is incredibly convenient, surrounded by markets, night markets, restaurants, and cafes, and within walking distance of most attractions. The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to transportation. Pub Street and the Old Market are just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel's decor has a charming colonial feel, with attention to detail evident throughout. There's also a small pool, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly, providing excellent service. I was very pleased with the room layout. The bed was comfortable, and the room was well-equipped. I especially loved the rooms with balconies overlooking the street, offering a great view of the city. While the decor is a bit dated, it adds to the hotel's unique charm. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked well, and the breakfast offered a good variety, although there were limited vegetarian options. There are plenty of fun things to do and delicious food to try nearby. Temple Skylounge Pubstreet, Amara Dining Pub Street, and Haven are a few of my favorite restaurants, all within walking distance. There are also small shops selling handicrafts nearby. Strolling through the alleys in the evening is a delightful and safe experience. The only downsides were the limited breakfast selection and the slightly worn blankets and towels, which could use replacing. However, these minor issues didn't significantly impact my stay. Overall, I had a pleasant experience at the Stone Hotel Siem Reap. I hope to see more improvements and surprises on my next visit!
