The Angkor National Museum is an archaeological museum located in Siem Reap, Cambodia. The collection mainly dates back to the Angkor period of the Khmer Empire from the 9th to the 14th centuries. Most of the artifacts were discovered in and around the nearby Angkor Archaeological Park. The Angkor National Museum opened on November 12, 2007, and uses audiovisual multimedia technology to tell the story of the golden age of the Khmer Empire.
