Walking into the Angkor National Museum in Cambodia is like walking into a silent but affectionate temple of time. There is no noisy voice here, only the ancient stone statues staring at you, as if each statue hides a thousand-year secret, just waiting for you to listen slowly. It is recommended to rent an audio guide as soon as you enter the museum. The voice is gentle, taking you through the ups and downs of Cambodia, and making those marks no longer just symbols, but a whisper from the past. The exhibition hall is divided into time and theme, there are Buddha statue art, dynasty stories, gods, universe and the evolution of Angkor culture. You will find that the smile of the statue is not only sacred, but the desire of people at that time for the universe, destiny and peace. Every time you enter a room, it is like exchanging eyes with your past self, the softness and curiosity you thought you had forgotten are quietly revived here. If your journey requires a moment of meditation and reconnection, then the Angkor National Museum will be the least noisy but most soul-deepening stop. 📝 There is also a place to draw lots in the lobby.
