Wada House in Shirakawa-go

This is a Gassho-style house in Shirakawa-go that you can enter. It is located close to the Shirakawa-go Bus Terminal, and the entrance fee is 400 yen. Originally used as a residence, the interior offers a glimpse into the lifestyle of the time. It is a nationally designated Important Cultural Property that has stood for 300 years since its construction. On the second floor, you can see the framework of the Gassho-style structure and check out tools used for raising silkworms at that time. It is a building I highly recommend visiting when you come to Shirakawa-go.
